This privacy policy explains in broad terms which personal data MountainPeak may process, why that happens and which rights data subjects have. The text is intentionally concise, but structured to remain clear and correct.

1. Who is responsible?

MountainPeak acts as the controller for personal data received directly through this website, by email, by telephone, or in the context of prospecting and project communication.

2. Which data may be processed?

MountainPeak only processes data that is necessary for communication, quotations, project follow-up and the normal operation of the website and services.

  • identification and contact data, such as name, email address, telephone number and company name
  • message content, project details and any other data voluntarily shared
  • limited technical data, such as server logs, IP address, browser details or security information registered by hosting or infrastructure services

3. For which purposes is data used?

Personal data is processed solely for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • responding to questions and contact requests
  • preparing and following up quotations, agreements and invoicing
  • performing projects, support and aftercare
  • maintaining the security, availability and technical operation of the website and systems
  • complying with legal and accounting obligations

Processing typically relies on pre-contractual steps, performance of a contract, a legal obligation or the legitimate interests of MountainPeak.

4. Sharing with third parties

MountainPeak does not sell personal data and only shares data with third parties where necessary for service delivery or where legally required.

This website is designed as a light static website and is not intended to build an extensive advertising or tracking profile.

If non-essential cookies are added in the future, appropriate communication or consent mechanisms will be introduced where required.

7. References to projects in portfolio or commercial documents

MountainPeak may refer in its website portfolio or other commercial documents to completed projects or projects in development. Only generally known information is disclosed, such as the name, logo and nature of the project, together with any location reference or link to a website. Clients who prefer not to be mentioned may nevertheless object to such references.

8. Data subject rights

Within the limits of applicable law, each data subject has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, obtain portability of personal data and object to certain processing activities.

Requests can be sent to hello@mountainpeak.be. MountainPeak may reasonably verify identity before acting on a request.

9. Security

MountainPeak takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, taking into account the nature of the services and the means available.

No system can, however, guarantee absolute security.

Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the Belgian Data Protection Authority, if they believe their personal data is being processed unlawfully.
